Subject: | SGP/SIRS/E3 - Multiplexer problem |
DataStreams: | sgpsirsE3.b1, sgpsirs20sE3.a0
|
Description: | The down_short_hemisp, down_long_shaded_hemisp and up_long_hemisp values drop out and
spike during this time period due to a failing multiplexer. The problem was progressive and
after 9/19 the mux had completely failed and those values go completely missing.
The problem was not resolved since the site was scheduled for decommissioning. Preventive
maintenance was ended as of Oct 1 2009. The instrument was removed from service 20091028. |
Suggestions: | Data are not recoverable and are bad until the end of the datastream. |
