Description: | The CCN instrument time during the PVC deployment was not synched with a time server. I
analyzed the data to determine how the CCN time was off by comparing spikes in the CCN
data to the CPC and PSAP data. A document with a list of peaks
that were used to determine the time difference. This rough analysis did not check
every day or every possible peak, but gives a picture of the approximate time over the
deployment period.
During the PVC deployment the CCN200 files were storing the local time instead of UTC.
During the 1st time range the local time was EDT. The CCN time was ~4 hours +/- 150sec.
behind the CPC. Due to the way the CCN scans it is hard to get an exact time difference.
During the second time range the local time was EST and the CCN was ~5hours +/- 500 sec.
behind the PSAP. |
