Description:
As is common for any operational instrument, the Raman lidar experienced intermittent 
periods of downtime for a variety of reasons. Several of the down periods were caused by 
insufficient laser pulse energy. This has been a common occurrence lately. Other down periods 
occurred due to regularly scheduled maintenance activities.
