Subject: | ASI/SASZE/M1 - Spectrometer chiller temperature variations |
DataStreams: | asisaszefilterbandsM1.a1, asisaszevisM1.a1
|
Description: | Spectrometer chiller temperature variations caused by an incorrectly placed sensor are
apparent as correlated modulations in the signal from the UV-VIS CCD spectrometer. The
magnitude of signal oscillation is small and is only apparent under clear sky for wavelengths
< 450 nm. The variations were reduced to negligible levels by repositioning the sensor on
Aug. 21, 2016. |
Suggestions: | Either avoid use of zenith irradiance < 450 nm during clear sky or apply a temporal
smoothing function. |
