Description:
The system experienced intermittent stoppages, and thus no data were collected during the 
effected periods. The reason for the stoppages are not known, but we suspect it had 
something to do with the by-passed UPS in the power supply box. The UPS was damaged due to 
water contact back in January. As a short-term temporary fix the box was rewired to by-pass 
the UPS. This allowed the lidar to run; however, as time passed, the system started to 
experience more and more intermittent stoppages. On August 15 a new UPS was installed and 
the wiring was restored to its original configuration in the hopes that this would solve 
the problem.
