During the deployment the instrument time for the UHSAS was not automatically synched and
tended to drift fast relative to the time corrected by a time server. The time of the
data in the files is about 20 to 360 seconds fast. This has been determined by comparing
the time of spikes in UHSAS CPC data.
Aside from jumps in the time the UHSAS seems to always be drifting faster compared to the
CPC.
For the period from 10/18/2012 9:41:45.70 until 10/27/2012 21:06:41.90 the UHSAS is fast
approximately 30sec.
For the period from 11/06/2012 3:38:42.00 until 12/13/2012 9:35:36.30 the UHSAS is fast
approximately 60 to 90 sec.
For the period from 05/11/2013 22:37:37.90 until 07/03/2013 8:50:02.80 the UHSAS is fast
approximately 210 to 360 sec.
For the period from 07/07/2013 23:14:40.00 until 09/25/2013 20:42:48.70 the UHSAS is fast
approximately 30 to 240 sec.
Documents attached to DQPR 4363 show the time of the peaks used to approximate the error
in the time. |
