Discussion of Problem:
The surface pressure for this sounding was entered by the operator as 967.8
hPa. The first pressure value reported by the sonde is 956.5 hPa. I cannot
tell if the operator entered the surface pressure incorrectly or if the
sonde pressure sensor jumped after launch. In any event, the difference
between the surface sample and the first sonde sample exceeds our
criterion for flagging.
Note that this will affect the altitude calculation throughout the sounding.
Other observations/measurements impacted by this problem:
None
