Description: | Overview of results of quality assurance runs for March 1996 by Mark Shafer:
There was nothing I could see to add to the QA in the way of cautions.
One thing I noted was that MEDI TAIR on the 2nd had 53 suspect
flags. These are probably false-alarms. MEDI and CHEY have some
local effects which often preclude establishment of inversions,
so they often get suspect flags on TAIR on calm, cool nights.
We corrected the problem at half the sites with the like-instrument
comparison routine (TAIR and 9-meter air temperature), but neither
MEDI nor CHEY have TA9M installed. |
