Subject: | NSA/GVR/C1 - Temperature sensor wire broken |
DataStreams: | nsagvrC1.a0, nsagvrC1.b1 |
Description: | The temp_ext temperatures were occasionally spiking to very large values. Comparisons with the co-located 2m METTWR suggest the GVR exterior temperatures were not reporting correctly. Site ops found the temperature sensor had a broken wire and repaired it 7/13. |

Subject: | NSA/GVR/C1 - Incorrect auxiliary measurements |
DataStreams: | nsagvrC1.a0, nsagvrC1.b1 |
Description: | Between 6/16 and 6/19 there was a software problem and the auxiliary measurements all were reading constant values. The brightness temperature measurements do not appear to be affected. One of the incorrect measurements that may affect the use of the data is the surface temperature. This measurement should be disregarded. Measurements from a different instrument (such as the MWR) can be used to replace the GVR readings. |
