Any measurements made in freezing conditions are suspect due to failure of the lens 
heaters.  Users of the data can use the SMOS E13 data to determine if temperatures below 0 
degrees C occurred.

Description:
Precipitation observed by the optical rain gauge was not observed by the SMOS tipping 
bucket or by the disdrometer nearby.  The optical rain gauge results should be considered 
erroneous.

Description:
Due to problems with the collector system, the datalogger was being time synched 
inappropriately.  This problem was intermittent and did not affect every time stamp.  The worst 
case time adjustments were approximately +/- 7 minutes.  These were infrequent and most of 
the time adjustments were less than 7 minutes.

  • Time offset of tweaks from base_time(time_offset)
  • base time(base_time)
