DataStreams: | nsametC1.b1, nsatwrC1.b1 |
Description: | There was a loose wire on the serial data multiplexer causing the wind data to become missing during high wind situations. The high winds caused the enclosure to vibrate making the connection intermittent. |

Subject: | NSA/SONDE/C1 - Wind data missing |
DataStreams: | nsasondewnpnC1.b1 |
Description: | A GPS problem associated with Vaisala BBSS ground station software issues caused the ground stations to enter into an error state when using GPS wind finding. In some instances, the flight was aborted due to the error state and not data was collected. A workaround was developed to allow sondes to be launched without collecting wind data. |

Subject: | NSA/MET/C1 - Met data incorrect during calibration |
DataStreams: | nsametC1.b1, nsatwrC1.b1 |
Description: | All met data from the tower booms (temp, RH, winds and derived variables) were incorrect due to the booms being lowered from their measurement heights. Additionally, the scaffolding was located directly adjacent to the booms affecting the wind field and the Temp/RH data. |

Subject: | NSA/MET/C1 - 2m RH values incorrect |
DataStreams: | nsametC1.b1, nsatwrC1.b1 |
Description: | The new t/rh probe installed during annual calibrations and checks began to exhibit readings that were biased high compared to the Chilled Mirror Hygrometer. In high RH conditions the sensor would consistently report RH values in excess of 105%. Comparisons to the other tower levels also suggested that the 2m level RH data is suspect. |

Subject: | NSA/SONDE/C1 - Wind data missing |
DataStreams: | nsasondewnpnC1.b1 |
Description: | After some power disruptions, the Power Supply board of the SPS220 ground station was damaged. The damage caused the supply to not have enough power to run the GPS board. Switching to the back up DigiCora II did not alleviate the problem as the fix for GPS failure to all Vaisala sonde products had not been installed. A different P/S was found and sent up to replace the failed one. |

Subject: | NSA/TWR/C2 - Reprocess: 5m vapor pressure incorrect at temps above freezing |
DataStreams: | nsatwrC2.b1 |
Description: | The 5m Vapor pressure calculation was in error for temperatures equal to or above 0C. The 2m Dew Point values were used for calculating the Vapor Pressure when the temps were equal to or above 0C. The following formula should be used to correct the data: VP5M = (6.1365 (EXP((17.502*DP5M)/(240.97+DP5M))))*0.1. |

Subject: | NSA/TWR/C1 - 40m and 20m Data Incorrect |
DataStreams: | nsatwrC1.b1 |
Description: | A power distribution problem required us to shut down power to the 40m level. All T/RH were missing and the 40m wind sensor did not have heat to remove any ice build up. All wind data from the 40m level should be viewed critically before use. The 20m T/RH sensor was power spike when the problem occurred causing this sensor to become erratic. See D100302.2 for the continuation of the 40m problem. |
