Description: | NIP (short_direct_normal) 29541E6 had an incorrect calibration coefficient in the logger program. The correct calibration should have been 126.67 [W/m2/mV] instead of 128.97. The correct calibration was calculated as NIPIrr(cor) = NIPIrr(orig) * (126.67/128.97) = NIP(orig) * 0.982166 The SIRS is input into the qcrad1long.c2 which is input to the radflux1long.c2. Once the qcrad1long.c2 has been reprocessed for this issue, the radflux1long will need to be reprocessed. |

Description: | Sometime on 10/13/2007 the SIRS data logger reverted to the old program used for the previous set of coefficients (i.e. Before the scheduled 09/13 shortwave instrument swap out). Differences in coefficients were such that the program change didn't result in easily discernible changes in the data. The long wave instruments were not affected. The SIRS data were reprocessed to apply the correct calibration coefficients for all shortwave measurements but the RADFLUX data have not been reprocessed. |
