| Description: | The AERI00 data from 4/10/94 - 7/26/95 was reprocessed as outlined in P950525.4 to correct for a obstruction in the instrument's field of view. The details of this correction are given in C951207.1. This correction assumed that the obstruction was unchaged over this time period. However, it was recently discovered, by examination of the preprocessed QME AERI/LBLRTM data that the data from 4/10/94 - 4/27/94 was "different" than the rest of the reprocessed QME results. Examination of personal logs kept by staff at the University of Wisconsin - Madison showed that the AERI00 instrument was moved on 4/27/94 and therefore there it is possible that the obstruction in the field of view was changed. It is recommended that the reprocessed AERI00 data from 4/10/94 - 4/27/94 be labelled as questionable. |
