The SWS contains two spectrometers, a silicon array detector and an InGaAs array detector
with partially overlapping ranges. The Si detector covers out to approximately 1050 nm
and the InGaAs array detector covers from 970 nm to 2200 nm. These independent spectra
are merged into a single field "zen_spec_calib" in the sgpswsC1.b1 datastream.
The temperature controller for the InGaAs detector failed on 4/26/2010. As a result, the
reported spectra in "zen_spec_calib" are suspect for wavelengths above 970 nm. Data
values below 970 nm are not affected by this issue.
