MAO/SASZE/M1 - Incorrect zenith radiance measurement
|DataStreams:||maosaszevisM1.a0, maosaszefilterbandsM1.a1, maosaszenirM1.a0|
The in-line shutter intended to permit periodic measurement of spectrometer dark counts temporarily stopped operating, stayed in an open position such that measurements presumed to be "darks" were actually raw zenith signal. This yield incorrect zenith radiance measurement for all spectral channels.
Hypothetically, a user might subtract a baseline dark obtained from spectra when the shutter was known to be functioning, then subtract this baseline from the raw spectra, apply the spectral responsivity in the file, and proceed.
