Description: | The logger board was replaced late in the day on 20050921 and there were immediate problems. Channel 615nm is too high and 500nm is not functioning. At times in successive days 500nm will appear for a bit in the morning and look OK, but then flat lines. This is typical behavior for channel 500nm through 20060307. Ch 615nm remains high through 20060307 as well. On 20051007 channel 940nm drops out. From this day through 20060307 there are many days and times when 940nm is flat. When it is functioning it looks OK. As far as the other channels go, they generally look OK, but when considering the problems with 500nm, 615nm and 940nm, the mentor recommends a careful examination before any data are used. On 20060308 maintenance corrected the above problems with one minor exception. Between 20060309 and 20060318 channel 940nm was still suffering from drop outs and flat lining. From 20060319 on all channels look OK. |
Suggestions: | Be careful. Look at each channel for each day. Some data may be useful with a thorough understanding of the data set during this period. Suggest not using these data in any kind of automated processing. |
