Description: | It was determined after some investigation there was an issue with the signal cable connector. The head was brought back to SGP for repair. Once disassembled it was noted the back of the head connector was severely corroded. This was cleaned and the instrument re-assembled. Once re-assembled it was run through the cal facility and determined to be functional. After reinstalling on 20170127 at EF-39 we were still experiencing a no signal situation. This self-corrected a few days later. A subsequent site visit noted the signal cable is "loose" when attached to the head. We may need to replace the cable at some point, but for now we will secure the cable in position with zip ties. |
