| Description: | From 3-July 2001 to 26-July 2001, the NSA MMCR calibration for the two coded pulse modes is incorrect. The values of reflectivity computed by the radars autocalibration software are wrong because they use the wrong radar constant. The correct radar constants are: 8-bit coded mode RC=16.344 and for the 32-bit coded RC=7.313. The only impact of the incorrect radar constants should be reflectivity value |
| Suggestions: | The reflectivity values will be adjusted during an upcoming reprocessing effort. The MMCR and ARSCL data files will both be reprocessed with the new MMCR reflectivities. |
