Subject:
SGP/MFRSR/E1 - 420nm and 500nm channels flat-lining
DataStreams:sgpmfrsrE1.a0, sgpmfrsrlangleyE1.c1, sgpmfrsrE1.b1, sgpmfrsrlangplotE1.c1
Description:
Channel 415 and sometimes 500 are over-ranging, i.e., the signal overloads the sensor and
the result is flat data bounding solar noon. Typically the affected time range is
between 1730 and 2000 UTC, though on partly cloudy days the time range expands slightly.
Global, diffuse and direct data will all be affected and should not be used when the signal is
over-ranging. Only channels 415 and 500 are affected.
Suggestions:
Look at daily plots and set values to missing when over-ranging is occurring
