Description:
A shading problem was first noticed in August data.  Subsequent careful examination of 
prior data indicate it may have begun in early July.  Because of the near constant dusty 
conditions, it is difficult to determine exactly when it started.  As such a loose start 
date of 7/1/2006 is given to this DQR.  There is reasonable evidence of shading issues in 
the second half of July.  The hours in question are between 1430 and 1700 UTC.  Mentor 
suggests avoiding data during these hours.
