SGP/SIRS/E19 - Reprocessed and Corrected: Incorrect calibration coefficients
DataStreams:sgpsirsE19.b1, sgpsirs20sE19.a0
Description:
DATA REPROCESSED and CORRECTED:

Sometime on 10/13 the SIRS data logger reverted to the old program used for the Previous
set of coefficients (i.e. Before the scheduled 09/13 shortwave instrument swap out).
Coefficients were such that the program change didn't result in easily discernible changes in
the Data. The long wave instruments were not affected. The data were reprocessed to apply
the correct calibration coefficients for all shortwave measurements.

The data were archived in October 2016. Please retrieve the reprocessed data for use in
your analysis.

You may find these data using the ARM Discovery tool at the following link:

ORIGINAL DQR CATEGORY:	Red (Incorrect)

--- ORIGINAL DQR DESCRIPTION ---
---------------------------------------------------

Sometime on 10/13 the SIRS datalogger reverted to the old program used for the previous
set of coefficients (i.e. before the scheduled 9/13 shortwave instrument swapout).
Coefficients were such that the program change didn't result in easily discernable changes in
the data. The longwave instruments were not affected.
The Coefficients applied during this time were as follows (marked "Incorrect"):
Incorrect "Diffuse PSP: 106.83 W/(m^2*mV)\n",
Correct "Diffuse PSP: 113.35 W/(m^2*mV)\n",
Incorrect "PSP-US: 119.40 W/(m^2*mV)\n",
Correct "PSP-US: 117.97 W/(m^2*mV)\n",
Incorrect "NIP: 120.41 W/(m^2*mV)\n",
Correct "NIP: 121.72 W/(m^2*mV)\n",
Incorrect "PSP-DS: 120.26 W/(m^2*mV)\n",
Correct "PSP-DS: 122.52 W/(m^2*mV)\n",

Shortwave data can be corrected by dividing by "Incorrect" coefficient and multiplying
"Correct" coefficient. (e.g. down_short_diffuse_hemisp(cor) =
down_short_diffuse_hemisp*(113.35/106.83))
