Description:
The 500nm channel began having sporadic problems in Dec 2007 and failed completely on 
3/30/2008.  The instrument was pulled from service on 4/25/2008 for repair.  

When channel 500 was reporting, the data appear to be OK.  However, be aware that it was 
having problems and there may be subtle problems not identified.
