SBS/MWR/S1 - Interference spikes

Interference spikes appear in the data affecting mostly the 23.8 GHz channel and to a 
lesser extend the 30 GHz channel. Some days are more affected than others. The number of 
spikes varies between 1 and ~ 5 per day.  The data are mostly unaffected except for the short 
time interval during which the interference takes place (usually one or two data points).

Filter out interference spikes

• 23.8 GHz sky brightness temperature derived from tip curve(tbsky23tip)
• Total water vapor along zenith path using tip-derived brightness temperatures(vaptip)
• Total liquid water along zenith path using tip-derived brightness temperatures(liqtip)
• 31.4 GHz sky brightness temperature derived from tip curve(tbsky31tip)
• 23.8 GHz sky signal(tipsky23)
• 31.4 GHz sky signal(tipsky31)

• Total water vapor along LOS path(vap)
• 23.8 GHz sky signal(sky23)
• Averaged total liquid water along LOS path(liq)
• Mean 23.8 GHz sky brightness temperature(tbsky23)
• 31.4 GHz sky signal(sky31)
• Mean 31.4 GHz sky brightness temperature(tbsky31)
