Subject: | SGP/SWS/C1 - InGaAs temperature control problem |
DataStreams: | sgpswsauxC1.b1, sgpswsC1.b1
|
Description: | The InGaAs spectrometer temperature was too high such that the spectra from it were
useless. It was determined that a ribbon cable was faulty. The system was returned to service
on 4/26/2011 in conjunction with replacement of a corrupt solid state drive. Although
the lack of InGaAs temperature control would normally only affect the NIR InGaAs channels,
the corruption of the solid state disk over this same period rendered all data from the
SWS unrecoverable. |
Suggestions: | Data are missing and unrecoverable. |
