Subject:
SGP/RL/C1 - Light leakage during offset calculation mode
DataStreams:sgprlC1.a0
Description:
The "flippers" were not opening and closing as they should during that acquisition of
"mode 0" data. The purpose of the mode 0 data is to measure the inherent DC offset in the
analog signal. This requires that all ambient light sources be suppressed as much as
possible. Since the flippers were not operating properly, some the laser light got into the mode
0 data. This biases the determination of the analog DC offset, which in turn affects the
data quality.
