Description: | Due to the thermal inertia of the instrument wall, slow signal response and a radial
temperature gradient inside the instrument cavity the reported RH and temperature inside the
wet nephelometer are off by 2-10% RH and 1-2 degrees C. The radial temperature gradients
need to be characterized inside the instrument at several locations within the instrument
with respect to a calibrated Vaisala T and RH sensor at the instrument exit. The
resulting fRH VAP needs to be recalculated and analyzed. |
