SGP/MET/E38 - Questionable tipping bucket precipitation data

Precipitation data from the tipping bucket in the sgpmetE38 data stream does not compare 
well with the tipping bucket data in the sgpstampE38 data stream. The reason is unknown, 
but it is possible that very intense periods of rainfall affected the ability of the 
tipping mechanism to record accurate rainfall. Nearby Mesonet sites show a large variation in 
rainfall amounts.
