SGP/EBBR/E13 - Reprocess: Soil Temperature Malfunction

For several days, soil temperature probe #4 indicated values
that were either too high or too low, for unknown reasons.  After Site
Operations personnel checked connections, it recovered to proper values.
Affected quantities are shown below.

15 minute: rr_ts4

30 minute: ts4, ces4, g4, ave_shf, e, h

Sensible, latent, and soil heat fluxes need to be recalculated using the
change in energy storage of probes 1-3 and 5, as follows.

ave_shf = (g1 + g2 + g3 + g5)/4

e = -(q + ave_shf)/(1 +bowen)

h = -(e + ave_shf +q)

• Soil temperature 4 (resistance ratio)(soil_temp_4_rr)

• Surface soil heat flux 4(surface_soil_heat_flux_4)
• Surface sensible heat flux(sensible_heat_flux)
• Half hour averaged soil temperature 4(soil_temp_4)
• Surface soil heat flux, average of fluxes 1-5(surface_soil_heat_flux_avg)
• Change in energy storage 4, 0-5 cm soil layer(energy_storage_change_4)
• Surface latent heat flux(latent_heat_flux)
