| Description: | This sounding was done in RESEARCH mode for both thermodynamic as well as wind data. The
normal mode is to for RESEARCH winds only. As a result, both the ascending and
descending flights of the sonde are included in the data file and none of the data are smoothed or
filtered.
Mentor believes that some of the radiation codes that use the sonde data as input don't
handle the descending samples well. Not sure which ones may be affected. |

the software developed at the EC or the digi-CORA. |
