SGP/EBBR/E9 - Wind Speed Cups Frozen

Freezing rain, snow, and below freezing conditions during 23 January 
1996 caused the wind speed sensor cups to freeze in a stopped state at E9, 
Ashton, KS.  Site operations personnel removed the ice from the cups later 
in the day to allow them to turn freely again. 

Measurements affected by the stalled wind speed sensor include:

5 minute:  wind_s, res_ws

15 minute: wind_s

30 minute: wind_s, res_ws
