Description:
Soil Moisture probe #2 and soil temperature probe #2 went offscale at times 
soon after installation of a new EBBR unit at E8.  The problem may have 
been poor soil contact to the probes or poor electrical contact at the j-
panel.  No site operation intervention occurred to correct the problem; the 
problem has not reoccurred since 15 October 1996.  Affected data values were:

15 minute: r_sm2, rr_ts2

30 minute: sm2, ts2, c_shf2, ces2, cs2, g2, ave_shf, e, h
