Description:
On 29 April 1998 the battery voltage dropped to below 10.5 volts.  No data,
except for battery voltage, can be assumed to be correct during this period.
The battery was replaced at 1830 GMT.  The cause of the problem appears to
be a failed solar panel charger/regulator. The voltage of the new battery
has dropped steadily since installation; it is apparently not being charged.
A work request has been submitted to have the charger/regulator replaced.
