Subject: | SGP/AOS/C1 - Invalid flag |
DataStreams: | sgpaosccn100C1.a1 |
Description: | The temperature unstable flag or CCN_temp_unstable_flag(time) seems to be set to 1 even when the temperature is stable. This started after the instrument software was upgraded. To check for temperature stability use instead the CCN_dT_TEC3_TEC1_StdDev(time) variable which gives the standard deviation of the 1 second temperature differential between T3 and T1. When this variable is at or below 0.05 C then the temperature can be considered stable. |

Subject: | SGP/AOS/C1 - CPC leak |
DataStreams: | sgpaosC1.a0, sgpaoscpcC1.a1, sgpnoaaaosC1.b0, sgpnoaaaosC1.b1, sgpnoaaaosavgC1.b0, sgpnoaaaosavgC1.b1 |
Description: | There was a slow internal leak in the CPC instrument and the data slowly decreased over time. The CN concentration is a lower limit and is likely 5 to 20% lower than the actual value with higher errors toward the end of the DQR period. The problem was fixed by replacing the CPC saturator block. |
