Description: | The SKYRAD IRT was installed temporarily (waiting for the new enclosure) in a vertical orientation, without the use of the gold mirror. When irt_comm was started, the emissivity parameter in the startup file was not changed to 1.000 compensate for the absence of the mirror, resulting in a positive bias of about 5 K. These data may be corrected by adjusting the radiance values for the difference in emmissivity. |
