MAO/CEIL/M1 - missing window blower
DataStreams:maoceilM1.b1
Description:
The window blower was missing from the VCEIL at deployment and could not be found. A new
unit was ordered and installed. Data may be affected during periods of high humidity,
condensation, and precipitation.
Measurements:maoceilM1.b1:

MAO/MWRP/M1 - Reprocess: High precipitable water vapor
DataStreams:maomwrpM1.b1
Description:
The precipitable water vapor appears to have a high bias that appears to be due to
brightness temperatures being calibrated 1.5-2 K too warm.
The reason for the calibration bias is not known and several attempts at correcting it
have not been successful. The liquid water path is not affected as much.
Measurements:maomwrpM1.b1:
  • Water vapor, tot. precipitable, from Tbright, 23.835 & 30.0 GHz, stat. retrvl.(totalPrecipitableWater2)
  • Water vapor, total precipitable, derived from Tbright using stat. retrvl.(totalPrecipitableWater)
