SBS/AOSMET/S2 - Settings for wind measurements
DataStreams:sbsaosmetS2.a1
Description:
Settings for the WXT520 Weather Transmitter were changed may not be as users might expect.

The wind speed and direction was read and recorded every second, but the averaging time
was 3 seconds. This means that the wind reported each second was a running average of the
last 3 seconds, not the second of the time stamp.

The wind speed was calculated as Gust & lull, instead of traditional Max/Min values.
Measurements:sbsaosmetS2.a1:
  • Wind speed(WindSpeed)
  • Wind direction, relative to true North(WindDirection)
