Description The TBRG's were mounted at a height that made them prone to vibrations caused by high winds which may have caused false tips. The end date of this DQR indicates when the rain gauge was lowered to mitigate these effects. Effects on the total precipitation amounts are assumed to be negligible.

Description The temperature/humidity sensor was not calibrated annually during this time. The temperature/humidity readings failed the 6-month field calibration check on four occasions during this period (temperature reading low, humidity reading high). Upon removal, the field calibration check reported the humidity reading was high (+4%). In general, the relative humidity may have been subject to drift during this time. The manufacturer characterizes sensor drift at <1% / year.
