Description Poor internal connections inside the unit 622 control box caused sporadic motor control issues resulting in much fewer successful direct Sun observations than anticipated. It is also worth noting that during this time persistent cloudiness also prevented direct Sun observations, delaying the diagnosis and correction of this problem.
